Ingredients: 2 tbs. unrefined organic shea butter, 2 tbs. unrefined organic cocoa butter or mango butter (black cocoa butter is easier absorbed and softer than the white one and gives a nice chocolate color to the whole mix); mango and cocoa butters have different smells, use the one that goes with the essential oil of choice (like cocoa goes well with bitter almond, vanilla, sandalwood; mango goes well with fruit and floral smells; mango butter is the hardest vs. cocoa and shea), 1 tbs. organic almond oil, 1 tbs. organic coconut oil, 1 tbs. organic jojoba oil, 4 drops essential oil of choice, for smell (passion fruit, I like bitter almond, or any other essential oil of choice)
Heat together until melted (on the stove or in microwave) the hard butters (shea, cocoa), then add the liquid oils and mix using a mixer, at the beginning at low speed, then at maximum speed until it looks fluffy, like whipped cream. Refrigerate for 15 min. then mix again! Do not add any water to the mix! the butter will be OK whitout the need to add any preservatives. If it is refrigerated will give a nice cooling sensation when applied.
